ECS Restrictions

ECS users must be registered in Volvo's e-business directory
ECS gives only access to appointed applications within VCN and Volvo EBN, Extended Business Network
Make sure that the connection to the ECS gateway is transparent for the protocols used by ECS
ECS can only be used on standard Windows single user PC's, e.g. ECS cannot be used if the user is running the client part of the application on a local Citrix server or similar multi-user server
No security for the PC itself is included in the ECS service
Other installed VPN clients can interfere with the ECS VPN client and should be uninstalled before installing the ECS client
ECS does not support LAN attached users behind an ISDN-connection
