Mack Trucks will again support the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) auction with a donation of a 2023 Mack® Granite® model that will be auctioned Jan. 18 at World of Concrete 2023 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Proceeds from the auction will be used to establish and develop CIM programs throughout the U.S. The CIM program awards students with a four-year bachelor’s degree in science in Concrete Industry Management.

“Mack Trucks is proud to donate a 2023 Mack Granite to support future professionals within the concrete industry,” said Tim Wrinkle, Mack Trucks senior product manager for vocational and medium-duty vehicles. “As a leader in the construction segment, Mack recognizes the value of CIM programs in preparing the next generation of leaders for industry jobs in the future.”

The Mack Granite chassis is mounted with an 11-cubic-yard M80 Series Drum, the McNeilus FLEX Controls Bridgemaster, donated by McNeilus.

Powered by an 11-liter, 395 horsepower Mack MP®7-395C engine, the donated Mack Granite model has power fed through Mack’s 14-speed Mack mDRIVE HD automated manual transmission with ultra-low ratio creeper gears and multi-speed reverse.

“Once again, Mack Trucks and McNeilus have demonstrated their support for the CIM program,” said Ben Robuck, CIM Auction Committee chairman. “This donation speaks volumes to their commitment to the concrete industry and the importance these leading companies place on the CIM program. The mixer truck will help ensure a successful CIM auction at World of Concrete 2023.”

The winning bidder will receive free delivery of the Mack Granite model to anywhere in the contiguous U.S., as well as a 60-month/250,000-mile Mack Engine Plan 2 extended warranty.
