International fair of public transport, TRANSEXPO, in Kielce is the public transport industry's most important event in Central and Eastern Europe.
This year Volvo presented two buses – Volvo 7900 Electric Hybrid and Volvo 9700.
Two medals were awarded to Volvo Polska – one in the Buses category – for Volvo 7900 Electric Hybrid and the second for the complete presentation of the company and innovative arrangement of the stand in the large expo stands category. The awards were received by Małgorzata Durda – bus sales manager, Volvo Polska.
The exhibition presented public transport vehicles, coaches, special-purpose and utility vehicles, tugs and technical support vehicles as well as bus equipment and parts and technical facilities fittings and furnishings. This year's TRANSEXPO brought together the total number of 164 exhibitors, including 36 foreign companies who used 10 thousand square meters of exhibition space to showcase their novelties and the latest developments.
