Ava Volandes is a social impact marketing executive with over 20 years of experience in both the corporate and non-profit sectors, focusing on cause-related partnerships. She is currently the Director of Social Impact at Minecraft, where she leads the team to build a better world through the power of play. Prior to joining Minecraft, Ava was Vice President, Corporate Partnerships at UNICEF USA.
Ava has held senior marketing positions at various organizations, including Incite Impact, Loyalty Exchange Partners, and BMG Entertainment. She also founded her own consulting firm, developing partnership strategies and campaigns for organizations in the health, education, and environmental fields. Ava has also been extensively involved with volunteer work, having volunteered with Taproot Foundation, Net Impact and New York Women in Communication. Ava received a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Boston University and lives in New York with her husband and two children.
