I walk in honor of Volvo colleagues, friends, and families stricken with this terrible disease.

I organize the team “Muscles for Muritz” and participate in the Western Maryland Walk to Defeat ALS. Our team’s name is in honor of our former colleague Dave Muritz. Dave was diagnosed with ALS in 2007 and as he will tell you, he is an 11+ year survivor of ALS. He is a 9 year survivor of a heart attack and a 3+ year survivor of Stage 3 Colon Cancer.

None of these things can waiver his faith and for that he is thankful for every day. I walk in honor of Volvo colleagues, friends and families stricken with this terrible disease.
